Frequently Asked Questions
Where is your team located?
Our team is 100% located in the United States. Because we all work remotely, we have team members throughout the country.
How do you find specialists to work on what I need?
We’ve worked hard to find quality specialists in each of our service areas. Because of that, we require that all of our team members be W-2 employees. We will never contract out work to specialists outside of our team. Our main goal is for you to feel comfortable handing off work to someone we know is well-versed in the tasks you need help with.
Do I need to sign a long-term contract?
Nope! There are no long-term contracts, minimums, or monthly fees, so you can scale up or down depending on what you need. We track time down to the minute with no rounding so you only pay for what you use. We bill on the 1st of each month for any hours worked during the previous month.
Can I act like your team members are my employees?
Yes, this is exactly what we want! You can assign company email accounts to our virtual team members and set them up to look and feel like your own team members. You can add them to all of your tools as well - from your project management tool to slack, etc. They can work directly with clients and will appear to be employees of your agency. You can even add them to your company’s team page if you would like to!
How do I submit or assign tasks that need to be completed to your team?
We know you're busy. Learning a new system takes time you don't have. So we don't have any type of task submission process.
Our team members will easily integrate with your existing tools and processes so you can assign tasks like you do with all of your own team members. Our team members are well-versed in various project management tools like Asana, Teamwork, ClickUp, Wrike, Basecamp, etc. We are not afraid to take up the challenge to learn a new one.
Our team can slide right in and make it feel like we’ve always been there!
What is your standard turnaround time for tasks to be completed?
We like to be as transparent as possible and do our best to manage your (and our) expectations. That being said, we usually can turn around projects in a timely manner, depending on the complexity of the project and our current workload.
Best practice is to communicate with your specialist(s) about expectations and deadlines. Our team will always be upfront with you, letting you know if a deadline is achievable or not.
How does your billing work?
Each service has its own hourly rate. Our team members will track their time doing your work throughout the month. On the first of each month, we will charge the card you've put on file for any hours worked during the previous month. You'll also have access to a billing dashboard so you can see all time tracked at any time in real-time. There should never be any surprises.
Do you have a minimum billing requirement?
Nope! Because we don’t work on a monthly retainer, you will only be charged for actual time spent performing and communicating about the work. Communication includes email communication, any meetings you will have with the specialists, and any Slack conversations about the task.
Can I see how much my bill is before the billing date?
Yes! You will have access to our Billing Dashboard. This system will allow you to see what is being charged and how long the tasks take the specialist to complete. We require that our specialists write notes about the task when tracking time so you’ll have a clear understanding of what you are being charged for. If you want your specialist to note anything specific, just ask!
Can I hire one of your specialists if I really like them?
Absolutely! We know our specialists are amazing and our clients sometimes want to hire them directly. We offer this for a small recruiting fee of 25% of the hire's first year's salary.
